Frequently Asked Questions

Q: The device is claimed but shows as offline. What do I do?

A: Check that the device is powered on, has an internet connection, and has been logged in. The device must be booted and connected to the internet to appear online.


Q: The Packstation shows a binding code — where do I enter it in the Admin Panel?

A: You don’t enter it manually — go to Admin Panel → OrdersDevices section (top of page). On the device card that matches your Packstation, 3 numbered binding codes will have appeared automatically. Select the one that matches the 2-digit code shown in your Packstation (Chrome Extension or Windows App).

Q: Recordings are not starting automatically. What’s wrong?

A: Check these in order:

  1. Is the Packstation (Chrome Extension or Windows App) installed on the packing computer?
  2. Is the Packstation bound to the correct device?
  3. If using Logiwa: Is the Logiwa Integration connected in Admin Panel → Preferences → Integrations?
  4. If using ShipBridge: Is ShipBridge running as Administrator with Advanced Logging enabled?
  5. Is the device online? Check the Devices section at the top of the Orders page — look for a green dot.

Q: Can multiple employees share one device?

A: Yes. Employees can log in and out of a device using their QR codes. Each video is tagged with the employee who was logged in when it was recorded. See Generating Login QR Codes.


Q: How long are videos kept?

A: Video retention is configured per account. Contact support at support@sellerhardware.com to adjust the retention period.


Q: Can I watch a live stream of what the device is recording?

A: Yes. Go to Admin Panel → OrdersDevices section (top of page). Each online device streams the current packing session in real time directly in its device card.


Q: How do I share a video with a customer without giving them an account?

A: Go to Admin Panel → Orders → scroll down to find the order → click Details → click the Share button → choose “Anyone with the link” → copy and send the link. No login required to view shared links. See Sharing Videos.
