Packstation
Chrome Extension (Logiwa)
Install and set up the PackCam Chrome Extension — the Packstation for Logiwa users
Last updated: March 12, 2026
The Chrome Extension is the Packstation for users who pack orders through Logiwa Packstation in a Chrome browser. It runs silently in the background — even when the popup is closed — and tells the PackCam device when to start and stop recording.
Prerequisite: You must first connect Logiwa in the Admin Panel before using the extension. See Logiwa Integration.
Requirements
- Google Chrome browser.
- Logiwa Integration connected in Admin Panel → Preferences → Integrations.
- Packstation bound to a device (see Binding a Packstation).
Installation
- Open Google Chrome on the packing computer.
- Go to the Chrome Web Store and search for “PackCam” (or use the direct link provided by your admin).
- Click Add to Chrome → Add Extension.
- The PackCam icon will appear in the Chrome toolbar.
Setup — Binding to a Device
- Click the PackCam extension icon in Chrome.
- Enter the Serial Number of the PackCam device you want to bind.
- The extension will generate a 2-digit binding code — note it down.
- Go to Admin Panel → Orders → Devices section (top of page).
- Find the corresponding device card — 3 numbered binding codes will have appeared on it.
- Select the code that matches the 2-digit code shown in the extension.
The extension is now bound to the device. For the full binding overview see Binding a Packstation.
Day-to-Day Use
- Open Logiwa Packstation in Chrome as you normally would.
- The extension runs silently in the background — no action needed.
- When you start processing an order in Logiwa, the extension automatically signals PackCam to start recording.
- When the order is completed or shipped, recording stops automatically.
- All barcode/SKU scans are forwarded to PackCam and timestamped on the video.
Runs in the background: The extension keeps working even when the popup is closed. You do not need to keep the PackCam popup open.
